Berry, along with teammates Scott Carlin and Matty Lloyd, were selected in the 38-man squad and played a practice match last week.
Vic Country will play four matches throughout June – where Carlin and Lloyd will hope to get their chance – as the carnival gives the boys an opportunity to show their ability under the watchful eye of a number of AFL club recruiters. Vic Country will take on the Allies at Spotless Stadium on Saturday.
The TAC Cup competition has a bye this week, but will return the following week – the Rebels to host Northern Knights at Mars Stadium.
