PAIN management will in the spotlight for Ballarat Libraries’ annual Men’s Health Night.

Ballarat exercise physiologist and myotherapist Grant McKechnie will headline the popular event with specialist prostate nurse Gay Corbett on Thursday night.

The event is free and open in a bid to get more men talking this international Men’s Health Week, themed making healthy connections.

Mr McKechnie will speak about pain and overall health and well-being. Ms Corbett is based at Ballarat Health Services and supports men with prostate cancer across the Grampians. She has also lobbied to improve prostate care treatment, including a less invasive biopsy machine in Ballarat – the first in an Australian public hospital.
