Abigal Hayward, Anna Davidson, Katie Hayward, Jack Stacey, Matthew Lim and Olivia McColl were chosen to perform with the full symphony for the annual Youth Concerto this Sunday.
Under conductor Gyula Cseszko, the performance will feature songs from Superman films by John Williams and Australian composer Robert Dora, and classical favourites by Haydn, Vivaldi and Beethoven.
Trombonist Olivia McColl said she had been “practising very hard and is super excited to be performing this brand new experience”.
Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts at 2.30pm. Adult tickets $35, concession $30, students $5, primary school students free.
