The muddy state of the Hepburn ground, where the fixture was originally scheduled to be played, forced the change.
The Hepburn surface was left in an unplayable condition after a junior football lightning premiership on Sunday.
CHFL administrator Diane Ryan said Waubra would have full home game rights for Saturday.
She said this would mean Hepburn and Waubra encounters would be played at Hepburn for the next two seasons as part of the competition’s next two-year fixture cycle.
Meanwhile, football returns to the Alfredton Reserve’s number two ground this weekend.
Ballarat Football League transferred junior and female games from the venue owing to the wet nature of the playing surface. Ballarat Swans and Darley juniors meet on the ground on Saturday.
