Having arrived at Basketball Ballarat this week, Griffin’s paperwork was still being finalised as of Friday night, which will be the deciding factor on whether or not she can take to the court for her South East Australian Basketball League debut.
The 21-year-old described herself as an athletic guard, who would be able to add to Ballarat Skoda Rush’s defensive structure, an area the team has been working on all season to get right.
Sydney sits in 10th spot.
Rush plays again on Sunday, hitting the road to face the third-placed Nunawading in Melbourne, which has only dropped three games.
