The Youth League Miners enjoyed a 14-point victory over Camberwell Dragons on the road at Balwyn High School on Saturday, 71-85.
Amos Brooks was among the best for the visitors, falling just short of a double-double, top scoring with 21 points and nine rebounds.
While teammates Ryan Gibbs, Ethan Fiegert and Joshua Fiegert all reached double figures.
The Youth League Miners then backed up against the top two Waverley Falcons and served them a second loss for the season at the Minerdome on Sunday.
After a strong contribution in the South East Australian Basketball League game between Ballarat Miners and Mount Gambier the previous night, Ross Weightman starred with 21 points.
Liam Allison was also impressive with 18 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.
Meanwhile, Ballarat Youth League Rush had a tough weekend with losses to Terrill ladder leaders Sandringham Sabres and Hawthorn Magic.
Youth League Rush went down to the Sabres, 94-49, in Melbourne on Saturday, and Magic, 63-75, at the Minerdome on Sunday.
