There was plenty of crowd roaring for the The Very Cranky Bear, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the children’s classic on Wednesday.
For every bear that ever there was in Ballarat, and their best friends, gathered in the library for a Story Seekers special session.
Picnic blankets were rolled out for all to celebrate the 10th anniversary of now-children’s classic The Very Cranky Bear. There was plenty of crowd roaring and teddy songs, including The Wiggles’ Rock-A-Bye Your Bear.
More than 220 children and a huge hug of teddy bears gathered for the morning tea.
Children were encouraged to put special name tags on their teddies, just in case a teddy bear was to sneak off during the session.
Teddy Bears’ Picnic is part of a busy free school holiday program for Ballarat Libraries.
