A woman who was involved in a crash in Wendouree on Friday afternoon was four times over the blood alcohol limit with two kids in the car.

The 36-year-old Miners Rest woman was involved in the crash at the intersection of Dowling and Howitt Streets in Wendouree just before 4pm.
The crash was only minor, but the woman failed to exchange details and fled the scene.
Police located the vehicle on Gillies Street and it was intercepted on Park Street just before 4pm.
The female driver, who had two young children in the car, returned a positive breath test and was conveyed to Ballarat Police Station.
She returned an evidentiary breath test of .224 and her car was immediately impounded.
The Miners Rest woman is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving offences.
