A MAN in his 70s remains in a critical condition after a crash at the corner of Daylesford-Malmsbury Road and Allens Road in Coomoora on Friday.

The elderly man was one of two people seriously injured in the crash when their van collided with another car at 9.45am.
A second person, a woman also in her 70s, was trapped in the vehicle for sometime and was taken to hospital with injuries to the lower half of her body.
The man was airlifted to The Alfred hospital where last night he was listed as being in a critical but stable condition with head, leg and chest injuries.
Two people who were travelling towards Daylesford in another vehicle were uninjured.
Meanwhile, a man in his 30s was transferred to Ballarat Base Hospital with a medical condition after a car crashed into a home at Warrenheip late on Friday afternoon. Buninyong CFA’s Peter Conroy said the car had “come off the edge of Ti Tree Road, and gone sideways into the house”.
