For the Ballarat GMHBA Miners, the semi-final exit was their biggest defeat for the season.
Peter Hooley led the scoring for the Miners with 17 points in what was the team’s lowest scoring output for the season.
The Supercats had five players achieve double digits in scoring including stars DeMarcus Gatlin (22 points) and Nathan Herbert (20 points).
The Miners exit in straight sets, while Geelong has fought off elimination twice to make the preliminary finals from fifth position.
