Adrian Curtain netted a first half brace before goals from Joris Kerstens, Liam Dawson and Luke Swards rounded out the 5-0 victory at St Georges Reserve.
Saturday’s success follows two winless matches for the Vikings, which lost to Williamstown before drawing with top team Epping City.
“There were moments of absolute brilliance in the match. We didn’t sit back on our 2-0 half time lead and I think we played a better second half than first,” Vikings manager Corey Smith told the club’s media manager.
“We were disciplined until the fourth goal went in and then we went for the jugular. The performances across the board were good (on Saturday).”
Next weekend is a break for the Vikings, which then have clashes with La Trobe University, Moreland United and Sunbury United in the run home.
