The Delacombe mother of two has multiple sclerosis and after scouring the world to find an effective treatment, has been offered a place in a Russian stem cell therapy clinic next year.
But the month-long treatment will cost more than $100,000.
Her fundraising campaign Kyllie Kicks MS for Six has been stepped up to help cover some of the costs of the treatment, which she hopes will stop the debilitating symptoms of MS from progressing further.
“My kids are so young (4 and 2). It would be nice to know that I don’t have to explain why mummy can’t do certain things with them,” she said.
Several fundraisers have now been organised including a trivia night at Inexterior Cafe on August 31, a benefit night at Tabcorp Park Melton on December 8, and a gala New Year’s Eve party at the Lake View Hotel on December 31. Tickets: 0436 600 065
