Sebastopol Vikings bounced back to form last Saturday and currently occupy second spot – and a promotion position – on the men’s state league three north-west table with three games to play.
At the other end of the table, Ballarat City is fighting to avoid relegation from National Premier Leagues Victoria 2. The City boys lost to bottom side Sunshine George Cross last weekend and are only four points and goal difference clear of the drop zone with three fixture remaining.
In women’s state league two, Ballarat Eureka Strikers sit fourth with two matches left to play.
