Great Northern will donate 1000 kegs to pubs and clubs in Victoria, Queensland and NSW for Let it Pour, a major event that will see Australians unite to help farmers facing record-breaking conditions.
Red Lion Ballarat is among the local pubs getting behind the fundrasier which will run from August 24-26.
Red Lion owner David Canny said the drought was a stark reminder of how tough and fragile life can be for those living on the land.
“We are really proud to take part in Let it Pour and think it’ll be really popular with our customers,” Mr Canny said.
“We need to get together and help.”
Pubs wishing to get involved can do so by speaking to their Great Northern rep.
