Artisan food was added to the June market to complement the region’s top creative designers on show at the Mining Exchange.
Market organiser Lyndelle Flintoft said this drew a record number of market-goers and, with more high-calibre designers signing up, the September edition promised to be even bigger.
The market will also run a collection point for Love Your Eggs, in honour of Design Exchange friend Larissa Robins who died last week with cancer.
Larissa, who grew up in Durham Lead, started a free-range chicken farm near Geelong to ensure her young family would have the rural lifestyle they had always dreamed about. The collection will support her three children.
Love Your Eggs is named in honour, and with approval, of Daylesford siblings Samuel and Connie Johnson’s Love Your Sister campaign to raise money for breast cancer research and awareness.
Next market: September 9.
