Food delivery riders, unionists and politicians have rallied in Sydney calling on Foodora to cough up unpaid wages, superannuation and taxes.

The Transport Workers Union this week alleged that as well as owing wages the food delivery company - which has pulled out of Australia - is being pursued by the Australian Tax Office and NSW Revenue.
Dozens of former riders, union members and Labor senator Kristina Keneally gathered outside Prime Minister Scott Morrison's Sydney CBD office on Wednesday to demand action.
"The federal government has refused to back taxpayers and food delivery riders instead choosing to back tech billionaires ripping them off," TWU national secretary Tony Sheldon said in a statement on Wednesday.
"Foodora is now skipping the country while owing millions."
The group marched from Mr Morrison's office to NSW parliament while Mr Sheldon and other union representatives met with Foodora creditors to discuss the company's alleged debts.
The union has also written to Industrial Relations Minister Kelly O'Dwyer calling for the federal government to create a compensation fund for ripped-off riders.
