The Wendouree-based business which produces iconic brands including, Mars, Whiskas, Pedigree, Extra, Skittles, M&M’s, Maltesers and Masterfoods among others, ranked sixth in a list of businesses Australia-wide for those with more than 1000 employees in the Great Place to Work Australia survey.
The ranking named it the top manufacturer in the country.
General manager Andrew Loader said the company was very proud to be recognised in such a way.
“This fantastic result is thanks to the 2,000 people who work across our confectionery, petcare and food segments and help create a workplace culture that is purpose-driven, collaborative, flexible and fun,” Mr Loader said.

Best Places to Work is the comprehensive annual study that recognises the 50 ‘best in class employers’ nationally. It focuses on workplace culture which includes trust, pride in work and colleague camaraderie.
Great Place to Work Australia Managing Director Zrinka Lovrencic said companies included “exemplify workplace culture excellence”.
