Now, as Grease celebrates another milestone, Curtain Call Perfoming Arts Studio senior school actors are bringing the Greased Lightning back to Ballarat.
Studio manager Alex Crowe said it was a happy coincidence that that show was coming back this year.
“We did a poll of our students last year and 90 per cent came back to us and said they wanted to do Grease,” Ms Crowe said.
“Everyone has worked really hard for the roll, we’ve mostly cast high school students, but there are 15 or so adult roles as well.
“It is a good family show, even though there are definitely some adult bits in it as well. But it’s a show that the kids love and the adults can come along and enjoy as well.”
Grease will be performed at Loreto College on September 15 and 16.
