The sweet voices of the Australian Boys Choir will sound throughout the Art Gallery of Ballarat on Sunday as the choir performs a final concert before leaving on a European tour.

The AGB’s Oddie Gallery or the Williamson Gallery will host the renowned boys choir and their touring repertoire of classics, contemporary and a few Australian tunes.
Also performing at the Art Gallery of Ballarat will be members of the Australian Boys Choir’s Kelly Gang, a choir for teenage boys whose voices have changed, and The Vocal Consort of adult male voices.

They will perform classics, such as Sarah Hopkins’ Past Life Melodies and Iain Grandage’s Three Australian Bush Songs, as well as works by Paul Stanhope, Joseph Twist, Clare Maclean, Stephen Leek and Dan Walker and a version of Waltzing Matilda.
During the whirlwind European tour, which takes in Germany, Australia, Hungary and the Czech Republic over 14 days, the boys will sing at Bach’s church and Mozart’s church and other venues where they will perform alongside local choirs.
