City coach Shane Skontra confirmed the changes on Friday.

Skontra said while defender Ryan Luke was a definite addition –  returning after missing the second half of the season – the second inclusion would not be finalised until after a training session on Saturday.

Clay Jenkins and James Cusack are in the running to return.

Jenkins has not played since injuring a knee against Bacchus Marsh in round 13.

Skontra said the decision to leave out the Dunstans was based on form and team balance.

Nathan Dunstan has been playing in the ruck, while Sam has been sharing his time between playing as a key forward and pinch-hitting in the ruck,

Leaving both out is a big call given that Darley has bolstered its ruck ranks in the past few weeks with the return of Abe Kur and Dylan Reid. Reid and Sam Dunstan played alongside each other for the BFL at the MCG this year.

Skontra said rucking responsibilities would be shared by youngster Harry Loader and Mitch Johns.
