While his Beaufort teammates were celebrating their first senior flag late Saturday afternoon, Sullivan was enjoying his third.
And those triumphs have come at three different clubs.
The hard-at-it onballer won a grand final with Daylesford in 2009 and another with Waubra in 2011.
During his time with the Roos, Sullivan also claimed the league’s highest individual honour, the Geoff Taylor Medal.
He joined Beaufort during the most recent off-season after playing with Old Collegians in the Warrnambool and District competition the year before.
Sullivan didn’t have a huge impact during Saturday’s grand final against Buninyong, but did kick a goal in the third quarter.
His 2018 campaign was a big one for Beaufort, where he played 15 games for seven appearances in the best and 11 majors.
