Standing twelve metres long, five metres wide and nearly five metres tall, the new attraction is part of Sovereign Hill’s new interactive playground project.
The ship began its journey to Sovereign Hill around 2am, after it departed from its construction site in Scoresby.
It arrived after around 7.30am after taking a special route, where road signs had to be removed due to its extreme height.
The new $1.6 million playground project is set to open at Sovereign Hill on International Children’s Day (24 October).
The new playground will tell the story of how thousands flocked to the Ballarat goldfields in the 1850’s in search of their fortunes and will feature four interactive play stations, including the tall ship.
Children are sure to love this new additiom and are encouraged to go see the full playground upon its completion in late October.
