Matt Short has been named in the Victorian one-day squad.
He will travel north with the 14-strong squad, which opens the series against Queensland in Townsville on Sunday.
Short was a regular for Victoria in the JLT One-Day Cup last year.
He had a top score of 81 – one of two half centuries in six appearances.
The former Ballarat cricketer also took on the role of an all-rounder, bowling in most games and picking up three wickets.
