He played 16 senior games this season in his first full year at senior level.
Grant made his senior debut two seasons ago and also made one appearance last year while still focusing on under-18s.
He was named in Hepburn’s best nine times.
Unfortunately Grant was unable to attend the Sportsmen’s Association of Australia Ballarat branch dinner on Wednesday night to receive the award after breaking a leg in a trail bike riding accident late last week.
His father Jamie Grant, who accepted the award on his behalf, said Jordan had had a rod inserted in the leg and would most likely miss next football season.
Other finalists: Lachlan Conlan (Ballan), Blake Welsh (Clunes), Liam Blake (Creswick), Patrick Parr (Newlyn), Jeremy Richardson (Rokewood-Corindhap), Bailey Thompson (Skipton), Flynn Donegan (Springbank).
