Le Chic Skin & Beauty, based in Sturt Street, have been crowned ‘Beauty Salon of the year’ out of Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia.
This comes after the Salon was a finalist for the award last year.
Business owner Amanda Di Cesare spoke about her excitement to get over the hump of last years close finish.
“I knew we had a good chance this year,” Said Ms Di Cesare
“We’ve only grown since last year, adding in a forth treatment room, and we pride ourselves in delivering the best service for our clients.”
The team from Le Chic Skin & Beauty received their award at The Star, Sydney, during the 2018 Australian Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA’s).
Around 600 guests attended the annual ABIA’s gala dinner on 9 September.
“It was great to experience (the ABIA’s) as a team,” Ms Di Cesare said.
“I was there last year to accept an award (Australian beauty therapist of the year), but to attend this year with the whole group, and be surrounded by such innovators and educators was a great experience.”
Achieving the success they have while being from a ‘country town’, is something Amanda and her team are very proud of.
“We are so proud to be from Ballarat, we want to further the beauty industry here, and keep expanding going forward.
