The Ballarat Football League is hoping to obtain vision of an off-field incident involving players and spectators which occurred after the half-time siren of a senior match at the City Oval on Saturday.
BFL operations manager Shane Anwyl told The Courier that this was the first phase in determining the exact circumstances of the incident.
He said parties involved would then be interviewed as part of an investigatiive process.
Anwyl said the BFL would not make any further comment at this stage.
UPDATE: 5.10PM
A spectator was evicted from the City Oval after a half-time incident involving Darley players at the Ballarat Football League senior preliminary final on Saturday.
BFL officials escorted the spectator from the ground.
The fracas occurred outside the playing arena fence as players left the ground for the half-time break.
Police were called the ground after the incident.

EARLIER
Police have been called to the BFL senior preliminary final between East Point and Darley at the City Oval after an incident involving a spectator and Darley players.
Players were leaving the ground and heading for the rooms at half time when the incident occurred on the asphalt area between the oval and grandstand.
BFL officials escorted a spectator from the ground.
