BOAA: Biennale Of Australian Art
The largest showcase of living art is on display right here in Ballarat.
BOAA 2018 is about telling intricate stories about Australia’s past, present, and future through art.
This years exhibition will have a strong aboriginal focus, as well as celebrating the counties multiculturalism.

Ballarat Football League Grand Final: Melton vs East Point
A rollercoaster BFL season comes to a close this Saturday, with the in form Melton Bloods taking on the top-of-the-table Kangaroos of East Point.
The two powerhouses faced off in the semi-finals, with Melton taking the win by three goals.
The two finalists have proved to be the surprises of the competition this year, with both teams improving on their five-win campaigns from 2017.
The Bloods will go in to the tie as favourites, having won their past nine games.
Mars Stadium is sure to be a buzz with excitement come Saturday afternoon.

Ballarat Netball League Grand Final: North Ballarat City vs East Point
For the forth consecutive year, North Ballarat City will feature in the years BNL Grand Final.
North last captured the premiership in 2015, beating Sunbury.
They fell short in 2016 and 2017, falling to East Point and Sunbury respectively.
The East Point Kangaroo’s will go into Saturday’s final the underdogs, having being handed a 16 point loss in their last encounter with North.
The Mars Stadium Netball courts will play host to the final.

NBL Blitz
All eight NBL teams will be on show at the Ballarat Minerdome during the weekends NBL Blitz.
The day consists of two sessions, each featuring two games.
This is the chance to see NBA stars and our National team players grace the court.
Session 1: Cairns Taipans vs Perth Wildcats at 1pm. Sydney Kings v Adelaide 36ers at 3pm.
Tickets: $15 for children, $20 for adults.
Session 2: Illawarra Hawks vs New Zealand Breakers at 5:30pm. Melbourne United vs Brisbane Bullets 7:30pm.

Fulton Street at Karova Lounge
Before shooting off to Queenland for the Caloundra Music Festival, seven piece soul ensemble Fulton Street will be jamming out at Karova Lounge.

NBL Blitz
The second day of the National Basketball League’s preseason tournament.
Former number one NBA draft pick Andrew Bogut will be continuing his rejuvenation of the Sydney Kings during the days first session, while both of last years grand finalists headline the second session games.
Session 1: New Zealand Breakers vs Cairns Taipans at 11am. Brisbane Bullets vs Sydney Kings at 1pm.

Session 2: Adelaide 36ers vs Perth Wildcats at 3:30pm. Melbourne United vs Illawarra Hawks 5:30pm.

The Little Brass Band – Jive For Five at The Cabaret Club
The versatile Goldfields based quintet have entertained regional audiences for the past 15 years, and are now their bringing their harmonious repertoire to The Cabaret Club.
Brass band lovers should flock to the club, and catch them while they pass through Ballarat.

Sunday Sessions: Eddie Nuardo at The Lost Ones
Previewing his debut album ‘The Good Whiskey Never Lasts’, Eddie Nuardo is bringing his alt-country styling’s to The Lost Ones.
