Saker was presented with the award at the Henderson medal on Monday night.

Saker took Bacchus from winning five games in 2017 to nine in 2018 and a finals appearance, while it only won three games from 2014-2016 – highlighting how far the club has come.
The team of the year was also announced, with grand finalists North Ballarat City boasting the most representatives, with four.
