Oliver is one of two finalists in the Carlton Draught Barrel Time competition, which comes to its conclusion at the MCG.
The former Daylesford and Sebastopol big man won through to the decider after progressing through initial trials in Bendigo. He then worked through the competition during a round at Etihad Stadium.
If successful on Saturday, Oliver will take home a range of prizes.
He could win $2,500 cash, $5,000 cash for his local football club – which is Castlemaine – and a return trip for two people to the USA for the ultimate punting experience with the Denver Broncos. This includes a VIP match day experience and the opportunity to participate in a punting session at the Denver Broncos training facility.
Oliver will take on Sam Sobey on Saturday.
