Short made 36 runs off 43 deliveries after coming in at number seven. Short came to the crease at 6-228 and was the ninth Victorian to fall at 292 as the Vics made 332 against Western Australia.

The Warriors were bowled out for 269, giving Victoria a 63-run victory.
Victoria will now play Tasmania in the final on Wednesday.
