The pair, from The Arch Venturer Unit, have balanced scouting and studies for almost three years as they worked through various badges on their way to the Queen’s Scout award.
“It’s a lot of work and a lot of hours to get there,” said Jeremy’s proud mum Elizabeth Coad.
The pair had to pass 13 Venturer Award activities, then reach the higher Queen’s Scout Award standard in leadership development, outdoor activities, personal growth and community involvement.
Jeremy and Jesse will travel to Government House in Melbourne on October 27 for an official presentation of their award.
