Since 11pm last night, the SES has been called out to trees down in Lauriston Road, Lauriston, just north of Trentham, Geelong Road, Mount Helen and Luttet Street Creswick as winds, coupled with soaked ground after yesterday’s rain, gives way.
Winds are expected to remain strong throughout the day until at least 6pm before moderating.
However, you will need to rug up with a top of just 13 degrees expected in Ballarat.
But those hoping to see some more sunshine and warmth won’t have long to wait with the temperature expected to climb to 17 tomorrow followed by five consecutive days above 20 degrees, including 20 and 22 over the weekend.
