Central Highlands Football League improver Dunnstown has lured tall forward Jack Sutherland away from the Ballarat Swans.
Sutherland makes the move after two years in the Ballarat league.
He joined the Swans from Hampden league club Hamilton Kangaroos in 2017 when he moved to Ballarat for studies.
Sutherland played in all 16 senior games for Ballarat in his first season. He took a while to break into senior ranks this year, but had a big finish in front of goal to the season – underlining the value he will add to the Towners in attack.
He kicked five majors against eventual premier East Point in round 14 and seven against Redan in the last outing.
Sutherland is part of an influx of recruits already announced by Dunnstown, as it works to build on a return to finals action this year.
Jed Millard (Lismore-Derrinallum), Nathan Sammons (Huntly), Dan Westblade (Buninyong), Matt Chapman (Buninyong) and Tyler Staude (Dunkeld) are other early signings.
