BSCC members are among close to 250 riders contesting elite, masters and paracycling road races and time trials.
Liam White is a favourite for a hometown victory in the elite men’s division.
White goes into the championships after contesting National Road Series event, the Tour of Gippsland, earlier this week.
His latest form also includes strong performances in the Uni Sport Nationals, in which he won the time trial, and finished sixth in the road race and fifth in the criterium in Federation University of Australia colours..
White will ride in the 20km time trial on Saturday and 122km road race, which has attracted more than elite 50 riders, on Sunday.
Nick Locandro is another Ballarat Sebastopol rider in the road race, while Grace Mayne tackles the elite women’s events.
Mayne will have to take on reigning national road under-19 champion Sarah Gigante from Brunswick Cycling Club.
Gigante mtook all before her bin Ballarat in January this year – completing a triple crown in the nationals.
She was a dominant force in winning the road race, criterkum and time trial.
Dayne Pearce will carry BSCC hopes in the masters men division one in Sunday's 102km road race.
The club has representatives in nine of the 10 masters men's divisions, with 25 entries across all events at the two-day championships, which are a warm up for the national masters titles in Gippsland next week.
