Peak hour Ballarat trains disrupted again
Commuters could have yet another difficult ride home to Ballarat tonight, after the 5.10pm V/Line service from Southern Cross to Wendouree was reduced to three carriages.

The disruption was announced at 4.50pm, with V/Line blaming a “train fault” on Twitter.
The overcrowding is likely to be exacerbated by the cancellation of the 5.35pm Bacchus Marsh service.
It follows a horror week for commuters, which included a signal fault at Sunshine on Tuesday that cancelled trains on the Ballarat, Bendigo, and Geelong lines, leading to huge crowds and packed trains.
