Creswick were hoping to leapfrog Buninyong in fourth spot, but it was not to be as Buninyong won two out of the three rinks to claim a 73 shots to 69 victory, creating a handy 14-point buffer on Creswick.
City Oval kept its dominant start to the season going, accounting for tenth-placed Sebastopol, which dropped significantly down the ladder, 80-66.
Central Wendouree knocked off Clunes 82-64, holding its spot among the top few sides of the competition.
Meanwhile, Avenue defeated Midlands Golf 77-61 and Daylesford edged out Avenue 76-71.
