And on the year 12’s last day of formal schooling on Tuesday, the preps returned the favour, walking their big buddies in to their graduation ceremony.

Preps Olivia and Isaac took the hands of college captains Tom and Nyaruot to help them celebrate the end of 13 years of schooling ahead of the VCE exam period which, apart from some language exams, begins with the English exam on October 31.
Tom and Nyaruot farewelled the school along with 18 of their classmates for an intense week of revision before their final exams.
Students at Mount Clear College also celebrated their final day of schooling on Tuesday, with a breakfast and graduation assembly followed by a valedictory dinner.
The bulk of Ballarat’s year 12 students celebrate their final day on Wednesday with a mix of breakfasts, morning teas, carnivals and fancy dress among the popular ways to mark the end of an era and the start of a stressful period of revision and exams.
