Ballarat has made a stellar start to its inaugural season in the twenty20 competition, winning its opening three matches.
Craigieburn has done the same, making the two sides the only undefeated teams in the competition.
Given the strong form, the Bolts will make no change to the side that beat Hoppers Crossing by 10 wickets last week. The clash will be the first of a Sunday double-header, Ballarat then facing Tullamarine in the afternoon. Tullamarine has just one win for the season.
Captain Rachael Matthews said this weekend would give her side a good gauge of where it sits in the competition and that they would not be going away from what has proved a winning formula.
“All we know is where they stand on the ladder, I don’t think there’s much point researching too much into the team,” Matthews told The Courier.
“If we do our thing we should be alright.
“We’ll keep it all the same, no point changing it when it’s working.”
Both matches will be away from home with the opener at 10am followed by the clash with Tullamarine at 2.30pm.
