About 300 people took part in the ninth annual Walk for Prems by Lake Wendouree, joining in a nationwide movement of support and awareness for premature births.

Prams were out in force for the event but there were plenty of grown-up prems on their bikes or walking with teams of family and friends on Sunday morning.
A bright, energising Zumba warm-up and waving princesses sent walkers on their way. The group returned to bubble and balloons.
Walk for Prems fundraises for Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, which supports Australian families with sick or premature babies.
Ballarat event organiser Samantha Prowse said it was important to let families know there help was available.
