Police have put out a call for witnesses following a break in and burglary of a Subway in Mount Clear.

About 4am Tuesday morning, two men forced their way into the sandwich chain through a window and stole a small amount of cash from the register before fleeing the scene.
The incident was witnesses by a nearby bystander who contacted the police.
A spokesperson from Ballarat Police said the burglary was over in about a minute, restricting the accuracy of the description the witness gave.
Police are also looking for any witnesses to a deliberately lit fire in Delacombe.
Firefighters were initially called out to the corner of Rodier and York Street just prior to 3am due to reports of the fire on the side of the road.
