The program will launch with an opening night and art show featuring works produced by LGBT+ artists from Ballarat and surrounds. Victorian commissioner for gender and sexuality Ro Allen will officially open the festival.

Fed Uni Acting Showcase
Join the Graduating Acting Company of FedUni as they bring down the curtain on their three years of study at the Arts Academy, Federation University Australia.

Uniting Bookfair

Cars Under The Southern Cross
After a great public response following their first event, Cars Under The Southern Cross returns!

Trio Elf at The Main Bar
One of Germany’s most acclaimed jazz groups is making their way through Ballarat. Trio Elf’s style of jazz brings a blend of drum ‘n’ bass rhythms, lyrical melodies, startling dynamic shifts and electronic effects.

Paces at Karova
Gold Coast producer Paces is bringing his fun, energetic style of music to Ballarat.
Fresh off releasing his new project ‘ZAG’, expect some sweaty, balls-to-the-wall bangers that will have the entire street bouncing.

Head over to Lake Wendouree and shop some fantastic local produce and stalls during this weekends farmers market.

Open Garden at Eurambeen
Come and visit Eurambeen to see the Edna Walling designed gardens on November 10 and 11.
Visitors to the Open Garden will be able to enjoy garden tours, plants sales, music, delicious local food, wine and beer from the beautiful Pyrenees region.

180 years of Mount Mitchell Estate
Turn back time and experience the historic country property Mount Mitchell Estate, through characters of the past. After opening in 1838, the estate has played host to thousands of people visitors.

Garden Design-fest
Gardens across Ballarat will be taking part in Garden Design-fest! The Jennifer Clancy Lal Lal Estate, Mark Bickerdike in Buninyong, Paddy Milne St. Leger Close, Perry Lethlean and Paddy Milne gardens will all be on display during the event.

Hopathon
The inaugural Hopathon – a 600-metre run and afternoon of fun – aims to help the smallest Ballaratians in their first days of life.
Competitors get a t-shirt, headband, medal to show family and friends and pint upon return. A post-race party of carb loading, brews with live music and festivities to follow in Hop Lane.

Backyard Beekeeping
Join local beekeeper Scott Denno talk frame and honey super manipulation. Techniques explained to maximise the wellbeing of the colony, support brood health, pest and disease prevention and honey production of your hive.

Bob Sedergreen Trio
The Bob Sedergreen Trio will be saluting the great pianists/composers from Earl ‘Fatha’ Hines to Keith Jarrett this Saturday at the Art Gallery of Ballarat.

Press Club at Karova
As part of their second Australian headline tour Press Club will be rocking their way through Ballarat’s Karova Lounge. The four piece has been gaining popularity, receiving frequent radio play on Triple J.

Remembrance Day Commemorations
Kingston
A parade down the Avenue of Honour and performances by the Creswick Brass Band will be part of the commemorations in Kingston.

The Remembrance Day service will begin at 10am, followed by some light refreshments and the ‘100 Years of Song’ event. Pianist John Watson will be performing at 2pm.

Ballarat
Ballarat commemorations will kick of at 10am at The Arch of Victory. Federation University Australia Pipe Band will be playing at The Arch of Victory as part of Battle’s Over commemorations.

The Hepburn Shire official town crier Philip Greenbank and Creswick Light Horse buglar Suzi Koene will be playing their part in Creswick’s Battle’s Over, an international commemoration marking 100 years since the guns fell silent at the end of World War I.

RuneQuest Con Down Under III
RuneQuest Con Down Under III is a whole day of fun and adventure at an Australian Castle! Indoor activities include keynotes, panels, auction, lunch, RuneQuest session, dinner and Glorantha LARP.
Outdoor activities include performances, horsemanship display, pantomime, jester's show, joust, torture museum, plus optional archery, potion-making, and more!
