A car that had been set alight and abandoned near Creswick Forest quickly spread into the nearby forest at Creswick on Sunday afternoon.

A CFA spokesperson confirmed the fire in Railway Road, Creswick, had started at 2.09pm and was attended at one stage by 10 fire tankers from surrounding fire brigades.
The spokesperson said the fire had taken some time to bring under control and had spread quickly in the dry undergrowth of the pine forest.
There was no risk to people or property but Forest Fire Management had been alerted to attend the scene, he said.
A smaller fire in Princes Street, Creswick, started about 2.45pm but was quickly brought under control.
