A woman is in a serious condition following a car rollover on the Western Freeway which left another passenger trapped.
The woman in her 40s has been flown by air ambulance to a Melbourne-based hospital, following the incident which happened at around 4pm on Wednesday near Bungaree.
Another passenger who was originally trapped has been taken to Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition, with injuries to her pelvis.
A third passenger, a male in his 30s, was taken by road ambulance to Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition, with an injury to his back.
Both Melbourne-bound lanes on the Western Freeway have been reopened following the incident.
EARLIER
Melbourne-bound lanes were closed after a car rollover near Bungaree, where paramedics treated three patients.
Police, Ambulance and CFA responded to calls of a rollover at 4pm.
Paramedics have treated a women in her 20s, who was initially trapped in the car, and taken her via road ambulance to Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition.
Ambulance Victoria also confirmed they had treated two other patients at the scene, but could not reveal more detail. Air Ambulance has attended the site of the rollover.
VicTraffic stated that all lanes Melbourne-bound were closed near Black Swamp Road, due to a collision.
