POLICE are investigating a fourth car fire in the Ballarat region in the past week after a Holden was torched overnight in Bunkers Hill.

CFA crews and police were called to Finchs Road at 4.48am this morning to reports of a car on frie.
When they arrived, the car was fully engulfed.
It took fire crews more than 20 minutes to bring the blaze under control which is being treated as suspicious.
It is the the fourth such fire in the past week, with two starting blazes in the Creswick Forest on Sunday and Monday and another was burned out in Nerrina on Wednesday afternoon.
Sergeant Paul O’Connell said the car was completely destroyed in the blaze.
He said investigations were underway to see whether the fires were linked.
