Five Ballarat youngsters are off to Perth to take part in an international hockey challenge.

Jessica Campbell, 16, Kahlua Smart, 15, Zoe Thomas 16, Lily Drury, 16, and Teddy Stewart, 13, are playing in the F-H-E Cup.
Thomas also played in the cup last year.
They have been selected to represent the Victorian-based Ciriello Academy in the under-16 tournament.
Campbell (Ballarat Clarendon College), Smart (Ballarat High School), Thomas (Ballarat Grammar School), Stewart (Ballarat Grammar School) and Drury (Ballarat Clarendon College) were chosen after a series of trials in Melbourne.
They play in a mix of Ballarat and Hockey Victoria state competitions.
The Field-Hockey-Equipment Cup was launched in 2007 to give juniors an opportunity to experience the sport on an international stage. Perth is the base of the Australian Institute of Sport for hockey.
The tournament begins next Thursday and runs for four days with a round-robin format.
