The Central Highlands Football League has been allocated an additional five to go to 47 – the new statewide maximum.
AFL Victoria has reduced the upper limit from 48.
Daylesford was one of just three clubs to have their points lifted by the AFL Goldfields Commission, which released the allocations for the CHFL, and Ballarat, Marybrough Castlemaine District and Riddell District leagues on Thursday.
Daylesford dropped out of the top eight this year top finish 15th with just two wins.
Bungaree has three more points and Creswick two.
Bungaree finished just oputsaide the top eight with nine wins and Creswick was 13th with four.
Other than clubs going from the previous maximum 48 to the new cap of 47, Waubra and Gordon are the only CHFL clubs to be trimmed. Each loses two points.
Six are on the mximum points allowed compared with four last season.
Melton South is the big winner in the BFL after finishing on the bottom of the ladder.
The Panthers have been given an extra two point to go to 47, as the only club in the competition to get an increase.
Sebastopol drops three points to go 47 in keeping with the new statewide standard after climbing off the bottom to just miss out on finals.
Grand finalist Melton is the only other to have a cut, dropping two points.
This leaves Melton South and Sebastopol as the only two clubs in the 11-team competition not on 43.
Sebastopol president Darren Hammill said the Burra was comfortable with the reduction, given it had played well below its previous 50-point cap.
A full-strength Sebastopol tallied 42 points in the last round of the season.
However, he did not rule out requesting a review down the track under the provision which allows clubs on the maximum 47 points to apply to AFL Victoria for additional points ia AFL Goldfields.
The club salary caps remain unchanged: BFL $140,000, CHFL $105,000, MCDFL $75,000, RDFL $110,000
