Harli Givvens (53 runs off 36 balls) and skipper Liam Rigby (52 off 56) made quickfire half centuries to help the side to 8-299.
Brady was very pleased with the performance.
“Rapt to score 299, it was fantastic,” Brady said.
“We batted really smart at the start and we batted the exact way we spoke about.
“That was our plan before the game, to have wickets in hand and the runs will take care of themselves after the tea break.”

AN OUTSTANDING bowling display gave Golden Point the upper hand in day one of its clash with Wendouree on Saturday.
The Pointies gave nothing away, dismissing the Red Caps in the 61st over for 150. Wendouree had no answer to the spin of Manjula De Zoysa (3-18, eight maidens) while Daniel White (3-48, seven maidens) and Daniel McDonald (2-31, six maidens) played key roles with the ball.
Despite the brilliant bowling effort, Golden Point finds itself in a precarious position at 4-39 at the close of play.
Jack Peeters set the tone, taking 3-11 from his five overs to keep Wendouree in the match and set-up an interesting day two.
