Just days after police praised Ballarat Cup and SpringFest weekend drivers after only one impaired driver was found, motorists were back to their old habits.
In all, the State Highway Patrol found 375 offences and detected 295 offenders from November 26-29.
Among the offences included 40 for impaired driving, of which 36 were found to have drugs in their system.
One of those impaired drivers were caught speeding at allegedly 180km/h along the Western Freeway. Police also detected another driver in the same location driving at 150 km/h. Both were detected within half an hour of each other.
Police said they wanted to remind people of the serious dangers of impaired and speeding to all road users.
