Traffic heading south on Doveton Street between Sturt Street and Dana Street has been stopped as crews attend to the scene.
The crash occurred just after 11am.
An ambulance is on site and has assessed patients, but it does not appear there are any serious injuries.
Police have confirmed they are looking for a black car in relation to the incident.
Emergency services are urging the public to seek other alternatives if you are travelling in the area.
