A Ballarat man has been remanded in custody charged with a spate of offences committed in Port Fairy during late October.

Detective Senior Constable Rachael McMahon, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said that officers executed a search warrant at a Port Fairy address on Friday morning.
She said cannabis was seized and a man was arrested in relation to incidents that happened in Port Fairy on October 29 and 30.
Detective Senior Constable McMahon said the man was charged with 23 offences including aggravated burglary, theft from a vehicle, four counts of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of cannabis.
"The man was remanded in custody to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court next Monday," she said.
